  • These Petri plates are manufactured under ISO Class 7 manufacturing facility according to ISO 14644-1
  • The polystyrene (PS) used for making this product is hydrophobic and complies with the specifications given in 21CFR177.1640
Raw Material Testing

The polystyrene is rigorously tested according to the relevant ISO standards

  • Melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastics as per ISO 1133
  • Vicat softening temperature (VST) of thermoplastic materials as per ISO 306
  • Temperature of deflection under load as per ISO 75
  • Density and Specific Gravity (Relative Density) of Plastics by Displacement as per ASTM-D792
  • Complies with the limits of heavy metals, phthalates and other restricted hazardous substances according to RoHS Directive (EU)2015/863 and amendments thereof.
Sterilization

Product has been gamma sterilized & released per the requirements of ANSI/AAMI/ISO11137/ISO13004, “Sterilization of healthcare products – radiation”. Sterile plates meet a minimum Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6 and aseptic plates meet a minimum SAL of 10-3.
